Owner & Founder
Brett began his career as a full-time diesel mechanic before recognising a growing need for specialised wheel alignment services within the heavy vehicle industry. Seeing an opportunity to fill that gap, Brett decided to step out on his own and build a business around providing a reliable, specialised service to the industry.
In 1995, Brett committed fully to his vision, investing in a service ute and professional wheel alignment equipment and dedicating himself to mastering the trade from the ground up.
From the beginning, Brett understood that reliability and availability were essential. With 4am starts and 10pm finishes, he built the business around being there when customers needed him - a commitment that remains a core part of BSLA today.
What started as a single mobile alignment unit quickly grew into a fleet of three. All three units continue to operate today, reflecting the quality of the equipment, the care taken to maintain it and the strong foundations Brett established from the very beginning.
Today, Brett remains hands-on in the business and continues to be driven by the same values BSLA was built on:
quality workmanship, reliability and exceptional customer service.
Jess Steele
Administration & Scheduling
Jess has been part of the BSLA team since 2008 and is also the wife of BSLA owner, Brett Steele.
With almost two decades of experience behind the scenes, Jess plays an important role in keeping the business running smoothly. Her eye for detail and commitment to getting things right means every job is carefully checked and signed off before it reaches the customer.
Jess has helped BSLA grow and build the strong reputation it has today, supporting both the team and customers along the way.
When she’s not at BSLA, Jess is a busy mum of four who loves keeping fit and active. She’s passionate about running and competing in HYROX, always up for a challenge and pushing herself to see what she can achieve.
At BSLA, Jess keeps things organised, keeps everyone on their toes and makes sure no detail gets missed!
Isaac Steele
Future Generation of BSLA
Izzac has been part of the BSLA story since 2020, joining his dad at work on weekends and during school holidays. Over the years, he has developed a solid understanding of the business and become a reliable and valued extra set of hands for the team.
With a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in the mechanical industry, Izzac hopes to one day take over the family business, continuing the legacy his dad has built and ensuring BSLA’s commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service lives on for generations to come.
Outside of work, Izzac enjoys riding motorbikes and working on 4WDs, reflecting his passion for all things mechanical and his connection to the industry.
Kai Tierney
Laser Alignment Technician
Kai Tierney is an important part of the BSLA team, bringing a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a commitment to getting the job done right.
Working alongside Brett, Kai plays an important role in delivering the quality and precision BSLA customers expect. His practical approach and dedication make him a valued member of the team.
Brett Leigh
Wheel Alignment Technician / Mechanic
Brett Leigh has been a dedicated member of the BSLA team for over 15 years, working as a Wheel Alignment Technician and Mechanic. Throughout his time with BSLA, he has developed extensive technical expertise and a hands-on approach to every job, helping deliver the accuracy, quality and reliability our customers have come to expect.
Brett takes pride in his work and brings a strong attention to detail to every job, helping maintain the high standards BSLA is known for.
Outside of work, Brett is a devoted father who enjoys making the most of his time with his family. He also has a passion for restoring old cars, a hobby that reflects the same mechanical skills, patience and attention to detail he brings to his work every day.
